The sites suggested above, namely Stables and the Racquet Court, would also be available; but it is for consideration whether Scandal Point should not be retained as a possible site for officer's Quarters and maybe hereafter, as an alternative to another possible site at Murray Battery.
It will be observed that the scheme sketched in the foregoing minutes is capable of further development hereafter in the direction of putting a whole Battery of Artillery near Belcher's Point and selling the Commissariat buildings, especially if the Navy were to take charge, as is possible, of their own Ordnance Stores, which would then doubtless be kept at Kowloon.
